In 1991, the first haute couture collection was shown on the catwalks in Rome and Paris. From 2001, Luisa Beccaria’s creativity along with the lustrous fabrics and exceptional quality, has been conceptualizing the brands prêt-à-porter line. From Europe to New York, Luisa Beccaria’s fashion is always inspired by new concepts, and continuing to evolve Luisa created crossed the Italian borders and seduced women like Nicole Kidman, Sarah Jessica Parker, Angelina Jolie, Kate Winslet, Halle Berry & Madonna… From 2006 by the contemporary vision of her daughter Lucilla Bonaccorsi. Together they create a continuous dialogue in which the Mediterranean impressions from their beloved Sicily, meet the heart rending concreteness of Milan.

Since her early youth, Luisa, born in Milan, nourished her imagination hungry of beauty, feeding it with experiences from painting, music, poetry, movies, drama, design. From her first collection, shown when she was just twenty, Luisa grew up cultivating her own beauty model and expressing it throughout her creations. She developed her light and dreamy style by the art galleries, her first boutique, the haute couture of Rome and Paris... But this life dedicated to fashion and beauty met also love and family. Luisa, with her husband Lucio Bonaccorsi, a Sicilian nobleman, and her children Lucilla, Lucrezia, Ludovico, Luna and Luchino, mixes the energy and vitality of Milan with the wild exuberance of Sicily.

And that is Luccilla's story, born at the same time from the Sicilian family of Reburdone princes, that of the antique Beccaria nobles and the lifeblood of fashion. Lucilla grew up among art and culture, between Luisa Beccaria atelier, classical studies and international experiences (often as the brand ambassador in lively and iconic cities such as New York). That's how she started learning just as a child the secrets of fashion system, from production to press relations, till the creative design. And that's how Lucilla, working her ways up, developed her own vision and aesthetics, integrating them into a tradition made of dream and beauty. In facts, from 2006 she collaborates to all of Luisa Beccaria prêt-à-porter collections, with her youth and her unique style.
