About

YOSHIKI, the eldest son of kimono creators, established Yoshikimono in 2009, aiming to blend tradition with innovation. His label was selected for exhibition at esteemed venues like the V&A Museum in London and the Musée du Quai Branly – Jacques Chirac in Paris, alongside creations by renowned fashion figures such as Alexander McQueen, Yves Saint Laurent, Jean-Paul Gaultier, and John Galliano. Since 2015, YOSHIKIMONO has been a headline act at Tokyo Fashion Week on multiple occasions, and he holds the distinction of being the first Japanese man to grace the cover of Vogue Japan. YOSHIKI has appointed Kuki de Salvertes, a seasoned press officer and longtime friend, as the fashion development director of MAISON YOSHIKI PARIS. De Salvertes has been instrumental in discovering talents like Vivienne Westwood, Raf Simons, Iris van Herpen, and Jeremy Scott.
