Arthur Avellano's Spring Summer 2024 collection was a testament to his unapologetic commitment to latex, a material that has become synonymous with his name. In the midst of this whirlwind, he managed to develop a compelling collection unveiled on the final day of Paris Fashion Week. Avellano pushed the boundaries of his signature material, exploring metallics with platinum and gold hues. He introduced an innovative take on the snakeskin effect from the previous season, opting for a raised pattern instead of embossing. Alongside these daring choices, he offered faux-textile options and even footwear, including custom latex-covered Ugg slippers.

The collection exuded a sense of familiarity, with its sci-fi space opera silhouettes featuring dramatic trains and opulent hoods. Models strutted amidst concrete columns at the Institut du Monde Arabe, and this sense of déjà vu was entirely intentional.
