Carven Fall Winter 2024-25 Fashion Show

Carven Fall Winter 2024-2025 collection fashion show at Paris Fashion Week FW24 (March 2, 2024).

Louise Trotter's second show for Carven reaffirmed her commitment to building a compelling vision for the brand, showcasing a more mature and refined aesthetic while honoring its legacy.

Set in a raw office space, the collection exuded a restrained yet confident vibe, with a tonal palette punctuated by subtle pops of color. Trotter's exploration of masculine-feminine permutations in fabric and shape elevated the brand's image and positioning, offering looks that blurred the lines between daywear and eveningwear.

Central to Trotter's approach was a focus on intimacy and personal expression through clothing, with pieces that revealed the body in subtle yet alluring ways. Dancer-inspired layers were juxtaposed with polished blazers and tailored wrap skirts, embodying a laissez-faire approach to ladylike elegance.

While paying homage to Carven's heritage, Trotter infused the collection with modern interpretations of Madame Carven's preferred silhouettes, such as column and hourglass shapes. Pleated column dresses, roomy coats, and softly molded tops exuded an elongating effect, showcasing contemporary constructions that were precise yet forgiving.

Trotter also cleverly played with comfort, introducing bags resembling flattened pillows and padded ballerina slippers with a cushiony appeal, hinting at potential sleeper hits of the season.
