Emilio Pucci Spring Summer 2023 Fashion Show

Italian fashion brand Emilio Pucci showcased its Spring-Summer 2023 collection in Florence, Italy. Creative director Camille Miceli paid tribute to the founder of the brand, Emilio Pucci, in several ways. She infused Pucci's motifs with a 60s space-age vibe inspired by the red, white, and blue Apollo 15 emblem that Emilio Pucci designed in 1971. The collection features printed silk twill, laminated with gold foil for a crackled iridescence on shimmering dresses, crop tops, and hooded bomber jackets. Air was the starting point for the see-now, buy-now collection, and the first look was a flowing, feather-light caftan embellished with Pucci's Pesce motif. The beach-inspired collection features bikinis, wet suits, and shawl-collar jackets paired with miniskirts. The signature Marmo print appears as allover denim, and there were a few all-white looks on fitted jeans, short dresses, crop tops, and an emphasis on Pucci's artisanal techniques. Miceli confirmed that her goal is to establish Pucci as a resort brand in line with LVMH's guidelines and expand the collections to everyday life.
