Hermès Spring Summer 2024 Fashion Show

Hermès' Spring Summer 2024 collection, designed by Nadège Vanhee-Cybulski, presented a delightful interpretation of "tomato girl summer" infused with the brand's signature luxury and charm.

The runway show was set against a pastoral backdrop, transforming the Garde Republicaine into a meadow with tall grasses, evoking the ambiance of an impromptu picnic with a sense of unhurried enjoyment, natural sounds, and freedom from constraints. This idyllic setting perfectly encapsulated the essence of the collection, which was characterized by an abundance of tomato red and burgundy hues – in line with the popular TikTok fashion trend of picnic-appropriate dressing.

The collection subtly acknowledged the influence of social media trends, which aligns with Hermès' strategic engagement with influencers. The fashion pieces showcased in this collection are likely to continue to resonate with and engage the brand's influencer community.

Noteworthy pieces in the collection included silk ribbed knit bra tops – a surprising addition to the Hermès lineup – paired with tattersall cotton check full skirts, shorts with leather paper-bag waists, eyelet-embroidered puff-sleeve dresses, and ribbed knit sets featuring contouring button plackets and midriff-baring cutouts. These designs demonstrated a blend of comfort, femininity, and contemporary style.
