Houga Fall Winter 2024-25 Fashion Show

Houga introduced its Fall Winter 2024-2025 Collection with the theme "Modest Adventure." Known for crafting romantic collections inspired by tales from the fictional realm of "Houga's Kingdom" each season, this season marks Episode 05, with designer Moe Ishida exploring the concept of embarking on humble yet significant journeys.

Departing from Houga's realm, this season's narrative revolves around adventurers who relentlessly pursue their chosen paths, akin to resilient weeds, embodying a quiet yet unstoppable spirit of adventure. Reflecting this theme, the collection predominantly features outdoor-inspired pieces reinterpreted with ample frills and gathers, adding a touch of girlish charm.

For instance, safari coats treated with a wash finish are paired with gathered sheer dresses, transforming the rugged outdoor look into a romantic ensemble. The safari hat, featuring shirring with silver lame threads, further enhances the ephemeral mood.

Despite being an autumn/winter collection, there's a lightness to the mood, attributed to the strategic cutouts revealing glimpses of bare skin. The quilted coat with a small clover pattern showcases a puzzle-like construction, allowing for versatile silhouette alterations. Skirts feature side cuts at the waist and circular thigh cutouts, adding a sense of airiness.

Houga's meticulous attention to fabric is evident with the introduction of unique original materials. Particularly striking is the long dress crafted from sheer soft green fabric adorned with long-pile pale pink flocking prints and shrink processing.
