Isabel Marant transformed the Palais Royal gardens into a captivating nighttime setting for her Spring Summer 2024 show. Known for hosting her shows at this location, Marant created a unique atmosphere with a nightclub-inspired hazy blue glow that set the stage for a different kind of energy this season.

Marant and artistic director Kim Bekker discussed their fresh vision of femininity backstage, with Bekker describing it as "more mystical" and "a bit more pure," while Marant emphasized a collection centered around "lightness."

The collection opened with a fluid, full-length parka in parachute toile layered over a lingerie piece with delicate detailing, hinting at a darkly provocative yet light aesthetic. Leather ensembles featuring impeccably fitted jackets and barely-there shorts exuded leggy lightness, while bouncy geometric-patterned dresses with lurex added a touch of glamour.

Isabel Marant and Kim Bekker played with styling by reducing the usual layering, allowing this sense of lightness to shine. The collection also featured clogs with towering pillared heels, emphasizing the brand's signature contrast and clash.

The show included sleek swimsuit variations with scooped-out sides, showcasing Marant's passion for swimming. Tactile knits and embroidered denim pieces, including a cool jumpsuit, added to the mix of short and slinky silhouettes.
