Niccolò Pasqualetti Spring Summer 2024 Fashion Show

Niccolò Pasqualetti Spring Summer 2024 collection fashion show at Paris Fashion Week SS24 (September 26, 2023).

Niccolò Pasqualetti, a rising star in the fashion world and a recent recipient of a Camera Moda Fashion Trust grant, showcased his spring collection in a distinctive manner. He held three intimate fashion shows in a small L-shaped gallery, where every surface, from the walls to the floor and even the stools, was enveloped in white Tyvek fabric.

The intimate, cocoon-like setting heightened the futuristic ambiance of his spring collection, which can be best described as a fusion of Space Age and medieval aesthetics.

Some of the garments, resembling simple tabards, prompted one model to spontaneously break into an expressive dance, gracefully flapping her arms and allowing the scalloped cotton panels to billow around her. She wore quirky silver lensless glasses adorned with geometric charms, showcasing Pasqualetti's prowess in jewelry design, in addition to fashion.

Throughout the collection, Pasqualetti predominantly favored dry and crisp fabrics, except for an intriguing departure into colorful metallic leather that had a distinct foil-like quality. In most instances, his blending of organic and modern elements resulted in harmonious and visually striking pieces.

The substantial leather and drill outerwear, featuring multiple utility pockets, struck a balance between a hobbit's utilitarian attire and a hipster's fashion-forward sensibility.

Hailing from Tuscany, Italy, the designer boasts experience in designing womenswear at renowned fashion houses such as The Row, Loewe, and Alighieri. His eponymous brand is characterized by its commitment to sustainability, artisanal craftsmanship, and gender-neutral designs.
