In a captivating display of creativity and imagination, Shiatzy Chen transported the fashion world into the mystical realm of Chinese mythology with their Spring Summer 2024 fashion show. The show, attended by luminaries such as the Oscar-winning actress Michelle Yeoh, left the audience enchanted and awestruck by its homage to the ancient tale of the mirage city and the dragon emperor of the East Sea.

Drawing inspiration from the rich tapestry of Chinese folklore, designer Shiatzy Chen took the audience on a journey into a world where mythical dragons hold sway. "In Chinese mythologies, the dragon has 14 children, and the youngest one is called the dragon of mirage. It's said that it can create mirages just by exhaling the air. Also, 2024 will be the year of the dragon. It's a fitting theme," explained Chen backstage.

The stage was set with a spectacular, abstract dragon installation created by France-based Brazilian artist Daniela Busarellot and Victoire de Pourtalès, the founder of the French art studio 91.530 Le Marais. This awe-inspiring backdrop created an atmosphere of enchantment, setting the perfect tone for what was to come.

As the models gracefully glided down the runway, it became evident that the collection was a harmonious fusion of Western and Eastern aesthetics.
