Tod's Fall 2024-2025 collection made a striking debut under the creative direction of Matteo Tamburini. The designer, who assumed the role in December, showcased a lineup that stayed true to the brand's luxurious identity and artisanal heritage while infusing it with his own unique vision.

The show, held at Milan's historic tram depot from 1912, provided the perfect backdrop for Tamburini's collection, which seamlessly blended timeless luxury with practicality. The pieces exuded an air of sophistication and elegance that would be equally at home on the streets of Milan or stepping off a private plane.

Outerwear took center stage, with standout pieces like the dramatic double leather and wool coat worn by Irina Shayk. Tamburini's choice of materials and silhouettes reflected a mix of bourgeois elegance and industrial edge, drawing inspiration from the dynamism of the 1980s and 1990s.

Knitwear was another highlight of the collection, with Tamburini reimagining classic styles with modern twists. Cashmere and wool were layered over cardigans, while pastel-colored vests made of boiled cashmere added a touch of softness to the looks.

The designer also put his own spin on Tod's signature pieces, such as the gommino pebble-soled loafers and equestrian boots, showcasing them with thin leather fringe and brushed finishes. He introduced subtle updates to the iconic Di Bag, playing with proportions and adding discreet new logos like a small geometric metal band.
