Vaillant Spring Summer 2024 Fashion Show

Alice Vaillant's Spring Summer 2024 collection was an elevated and refined offering, prominently featuring men's tailoring with a unique twist.

The collection emphasized an upgrade in various aspects, including sustainable material sourcing, resulting in the use of certified sustainable fabrics throughout. Vaillant drew inspiration from architecture, evident in her carefully constructed garments that often incorporated layers to reveal hidden elements. For example, a purple lace sleeveless top deconstructed and flowed into a long lace fringe, exposing purple trousers underneath.

A central theme of the collection was the contrast between rigidity and free-flowing styles. Technical fabrics were expertly mixed with materials like raffia lace, and Vaillant collaborated with Swarovski, incorporating crystal embellishments as intricate details. Crystal accents adorned lapels, sleeves, and patches of white lace on ankle-length black skirts.

The designer introduced more luxury fabrics, including jersey, and expanded the collection to include denim, using GOTS-certified fabric sourced and washed in France. The predominantly black-and-white collection featured an array of men's tailoring and outerwear.

Pump mules were introduced as part of Vaillant's footwear lineup. Her recent recognition with the emerging talent award in the fashion category at the Grands Prix de la Création de la Ville de Paris added to her accolades.
