Valentino Rendez-Vous : imagined in the studio, created in the Atelier, and set free in the streets of Paris. For Valentino RendezVous, Creative Director Pierpaolo Piccioli focuses on the street as the meeting place, the center of exchange and imperfect magnificence. A language that has already been written. There is no such thing as a chance encounter. An encounter along a new path, an energy distilled from day to evening. Winding in and out of the Carreau du Temple in Paris, Piccioli’s Valentino Rendez-Vous show tells a story of personal and public, intimate and expressive. Shimmering sequin capes, lilac evening dresses and allover floral prints. A diversity of inspirations collide for a rich, resignified palette, inspired by the house archives. Bags with an envelope shape and a magnified maxi stud. Revealed at the SS22 show, the Valentino Garavani One Stud Bag reinterprets the iconic symbol of the house, placed on a butter-soft nappa leather and offered in a varied palette of colors.
