A. Teodoro Spring Summer 2022 Lookbook

In this unusual period of sweeping changes and new ways of doing things, as has happened with many other brands, the idea came about for us to break with the mould and rethink our collections with a closer focus on our customers and reference markets. With original but grounded ideas, A.Teodoro has created this capsule collection for Spring Summer 2022, developing a specific product concept and its possible, often surprising applications, with simplicity and precision. The shirt or blouse, the perennial central item chosen by the brand's customers, is reworked and developed using the wrap concept, wrapping the garment around the body with ultra-feminine style to evoke a certain allure and elegance.

Dresses, shirt dresses and coats share typical shirt design details and make use of an incredible selection of cotton or cotton blend poplins: Waterproof techno poplin for ruffled parka jackets, cache-coeur trench coats, blousy K-Way style jackets. Cotton silk poplin on taffeta chains for billowing tunic blouses with cascading ruffles. Crisp classic poplin for classic white shirts or colour-block wrap-around shirt dresses. Stretch cotton-satin poplin for tight-fitted corset shirts and extremely sensual dresses, through to ultra-light cotton or silk-blend poplin for ballerina wrap shirt dresses.

A compact, multipurpose selection featuring the trademark sophisticated elegance, enhanced with complementary items like dresses in crêpe back satin and silk scarf print tunics in crêpe de chine again embellished with elements and construction details taken from shirt-making. The colour palette is rich and varied and products have custom options, almost demi-couture style, to make each piece almost unique. Warm and cool tones alternate and sometimes merge in refined colour-block effects, with a host nuances of pink and red, recalling the colours of the summer sky, bright blue, deep blue and sea green, and of course, the ever-present black and white and the most reassuring sand beige shades as the basic colours.
