Maison Kitsuné Fall Winter 2023-24 Lookbook

French-Japanese design label Maison Kitsuné is already setting its sights on the upcoming season with the release of its official Fall 2023 lookbook. For the colder months, the brand draws inspiration from the clash between "Teddy girls" and "Eton boys", resulting in a collection of punk-infused, prep-first silhouettes. The line reimagines classic Kitsuné pieces such as rugby shirts, varsity jackets, and polos with collegiate stripes, regatta florals, and quintessential branding. Classic check patterns are updated with oversized proportions, while wildflower embroidery takes over the brand's logo and daisy chains appear as printed jacquard.

The collection puts utilitarianism at the forefront with its outerwear essentials, featuring Kitsuné's key multi-functional constructions. The woolen twill pea coat exudes sophistication, while the cropped puffer is ready to repel water. The knitwear in the collection employs industry-shifting weaving techniques. Teddy must-haves such as a black satin blouson and dark-washed denim are presented as moody womenswear staples. The brand's signature Fox logo is reimagined in a variety of tonal colors with a graphic, linear facade in several looks. FW23 collection exudes a rebellious agenda, boldly reinterpreting traditional pieces with playful updates and a punk-inspired edge.
