The minimalist essence of the Slovak label Nehera remained intact in its Spring Summer 2024 collection, although a subtle touch of color graced the designs in the form of soft, cool pastel shades like pistachio, vanilla, and icy blue. Nehera's design philosophy is rooted in timeless aesthetics and thoughtful craftsmanship, and it steadfastly resists fleeting trends, focusing on enduring and purposeful design crafted from European fabrics.
In line with a commitment to sustainability and natural materials, the collection featured seven different varieties of linen. These ranged from traditional linen used for distinctive overalls with a versatile top half, resembling a tailored jacket without sleeves, to innovative coated linens employed in loose pants with a subtle sheen. The linen variations extended to textured checks and blends with cotton, resulting in lightweight jersey pieces featuring dual layers, one ribbed and the other plain. Nehera also introduced its inaugural swimwear pieces, which could double as bodysuits.
The collection predominantly embraced roomy silhouettes, with pieces like dad jackets, wide-sleeved shirts, and open-leg pants, as well as "X-shaped" designs that subtly accentuated the waist through clever draping and pleating techniques. Adjustable tabs allowed for shape modifications, a two-layer biker-style jacket revealed an entirely new form when turned inside out, and a crisp white shirtdress exhibited an intriguing twist and knot at the hips, skillfully sewn in place to create visual interest and dynamic structure. Nehera's Spring Summer 2024 collection continued to epitomize the label's dedication to refined and thoughtful design.
