Christa Bösch and Cosima Gadient are entering the new year and approaching their pre-fall season with a deliberate mindset. During a collaborative video call, Bösch articulated, "We've been engaged in creative and experimental endeavors for an extended period. However, with this collection, our goal is to provide a sense of comfort, akin to the embrace we all seek in these challenging times."

The inaugural ensemble, featuring a sage green jersey top, strap-embellished leggings, and a "furry" chocolate miniskirt, is described by the duo as an embodiment of their upbringing—simultaneously sophisticated and casual. This furry fabric reappears in subsequent pieces, such as a tailored jacket paired with wide-legged trousers or as deep cuffs on green knickers. Observant individuals may discern subtle references to the previous season's runway in graffitied cotton or paper totes, with the brand's signature asymmetrical lace-up shoes now reintroduced in shearling.

Departing from a pursuit of edginess for its own sake, the designers sought to present a collection of "softshell layers" that are accessible, despite their roots in traditional Swiss attire. An example is the reinterpretation of the classic dirndl, typically found in vintage Oktoberfest photos. Neither designer envisions wearing it unless transformed into a mesh crop top, a long printed dress complemented by a tailored blazer, or boldly patterned body-positive separates.

Drawing inspiration from traditional men's clothing, lederhosen undergoes a modern reinterpretation in mesh or shiny flared trousers, departing from Alpine transhumance aesthetics and leaning more towards a contemporary allure reminiscent of a "little red Corvette." Additionally, red and white chalet checks enhance the visual appeal. Cozy chunky cable knits, developed in collaboration with a manufacturing partner in Athens, add warmth. A pink and navy knit twin set with a matching skirt playfully tweaks a classic trope, while outerwear pieces, including a padded hunting-style jacket, a strappy bomber, and hooded cloak-like garments, aim to resonate with the brand's core audience. Opting for clarity over eccentricity is anticipated to be a strategic decision.
