Retrofête Pre-Fall 2024 collection lookbook (33 outfits).

In the midst of September's New York Fashion Week, Retrofête's dynamic duo, creative director Ohad Seroya and partner Aviad Klin, unveiled their captivating pre-fall 2024 collection. Departing from the childhood nostalgia that inspired their previous spring collection, the designers immersed themselves in the allure of Ibiza-inspired escapism, bringing forth a mesmerizing array of beach-inspired glamor.

Tranquil Elegance - Seroya, describing the collection as more tranquil and organic, led the charge with an exquisite array of all-white ensembles. Maintaining the brand's maximalist, glam DNA, the collection featured simpler yet stunning looks adorned with pretty pearl accents and tonal paillettes. These ethereal pieces, with their signature sparkle, showcased a more subdued interpretation of Retrofête's bold ethos, making them ideal alternatives for the modern bride.

Sun-Kissed Aesthetics - Embracing the essence of sun-kissed beauty, Seroya crafted looks that exuded the feeling of the sun touching the skin. Siren-inspired sequin slipdresses and pastel and sand-hued paillette-decorated ensembles captured the spirit of Ibiza, while breezy, strapless minidresses and fishing-net-inspired ombré netted numbers added a touch of seaside whimsy. The collection subtly celebrated the brand's 'more-is-more' philosophy through a nuanced lens.

Handcrafted Excellence -Seroya's dedication to handwork and an optimistic perspective shone through the collection's intricate details. Hand-embroideries adorned beige minidresses with custom seashell and starfish lace, while brown frocks featured raffia hems, crystal accents, and wooden-bead straps. These meticulous touches elevated each piece, reflecting the designer's commitment to craftsmanship and individuality.

A Nod to the 90s - The influence of '90s fashion was unmistakable in the Retrofête pre-fall collection, manifested in city-minded updated denim silhouettes and linen blazers. Nautical striped knits, slips with patchwork floral, paisley, and leopard prints showcased a harmonious blend of sophistication and playfulness. The muted beachy shades of these ensembles, inspired by Mykonos and Ibiza, seamlessly translated into versatile and chic party dresses.
