Valentino's Pre-Fall 2023 collection, offers a wardrobe with a twist of cool. The collection seems to be in keeping with Pierpaolo Piccioli's current direction, where separates of the deceptively nonchalant variety were styled in the counterintuitive way the designer has embraced.
Piccioli explained that the idea of a wardrobe as a vocabulary of various and diverse semantic layers has always fascinated him. He aims to open up Valentino's repertoire of haute self-representation "to many aesthetic worlds" by looking at the boundary-breaking codes of the new generation.
