About

Lebor Gabala is the brainchild of Maite Muñoz, who learned the art of fashion design from prominent figures in the industry such as Pedro Morago, Rap Diffusion, and Mila & Tucho Balado. The name itself is charming and significant, as it translates to "Book of Invasions of Ireland," a collection of Gaelic manuscripts from the eleventh century that chronicles the establishment of Ireland. Maite was drawn to the fanciful stories within the manuscripts and the close association of Ireland with the wool tradition. Thus, she decided to adopt the phonetic name Lebor Gabala, which is pronounced as "Leh-bor Ga-ba-la" in Spanish. Lebor Gabala is committed to utilizing only the finest materials to create the highest quality products.
