Let's Swim Beachwear 2024 Campaign

Let's Swim Beachwear 2024 Collection Campaign By David Koma (Creative Director) featuring Birgit Kos, Luna Bijl (Models).

LET’S SWIM, a new beachwear label of Founder and Creative Director David Koma, unveils its 2024 collection with a fervent commitment to both sustainability and ocean conservation. More than just a swimwear brand, LET’S SWIM is a movement, spearheading initiatives that go beyond fashion, aiming to cultivate a community dedicated to preserving marine biodiversity and championing shark conservation.

At the core of LET’S SWIM’s ethos lies an exploration into the cinematic allure of the ocean environment, coupled with a nod to the iconic swim imagery of the 80s. Central to this exploration is the enigmatic figure of the shark, symbolizing the brand’s unwavering dedication to conservation and protection efforts.

Drawing inspiration from Koma’s passion for travel and the uninhibited freedom experienced at the beach or poolside, LET’S SWIM embodies a state of liberated undress, celebrating the raw beauty of the human form.

Speaking on the inception of LET’S SWIM, Koma reflects, “It has provided me with a platform to merge my love of travel with my passion for fashion. Swimwear felt like a natural progression, allowing me to express my fascination with sharks and marine life while capturing the essence of beautiful destinations. LET’S SWIM serves as a conduit for changing perceptions about sharks through compelling narratives from divers and conservationists.”

The debut collection pays homage to classic silhouettes of the 80s, featuring ten bikinis, five swimsuits, and eight beachwear cover-ups. Highlight pieces include the One Shoulder Bandeau Swimsuit and Mesh Maxi Dress, available in a palette of blues, reds, whites, and blacks.

Central to LET’S SWIM’s identity is its unwavering commitment to sustainability. An impressive 96% of the collection is crafted from ECOYNYL, a regenerated nylon yarn derived from post-consumer waste. Furthermore, all pieces are fashioned from organic cotton and recycled polyamide, and the brand utilizes fully recyclable packaging. Beyond materials, LET’S SWIM actively collaborates with divers, shark conservationists, and charitable organizations to foster cleaner beaches and safer oceans for marine life.

The inaugural LET’S SWIM campaign invites audiences to immerse themselves in the brand’s ethos and explore the collection firsthand. With a seamless blend of sustainability, fashion, and conservation, LET’S SWIM offers more than just swimwear—it embodies a vision for a more conscious and connected world.
