Elie Saab Fall Winter 2024-25 Fashion Show

Elie Saab drew inspiration from the iconic style of Priscilla Presley for his Fall Winter 2024-2025 collection, titled "Memories of Graceland." While paying homage to Presley's '70s aesthetic, Saab infused his signature glamour into a collection that seamlessly blended country and rock'n'roll influences.

The runway opened with swinging fringe adorning western-style jackets, tops, and high-heeled cowboy boots, evoking a sense of country chic. Lightning bolt zig-zags embroidered on gowns paid homage to Elvis Presley's TCB motif, adding a touch of rock'n'roll energy to the collection. The soundtrack echoed the strums of a steel guitar, setting the mood for the nostalgic journey.

Saab showcased his mastery of daywear with stiff, dark denim featuring his looping moon monogram embroidered on shoulders and pockets. Denim-on-denim looks and wide-legged jumpsuits exuded effortless elegance, while bolero vests and bolo ties added a Western-inspired twist. Sheer blouses with floral embroidery captured the essence of naked dressing with a sophisticated flair.

The collection transitioned seamlessly from country and rock to hard rock and disco, with heavily-studded black and gold dresses exuding edgy glamour, and asymmetrical amethyst gowns featuring subtle cape shoulders for added swish. Saab's red carpet-ready looks dazzled in monochrome with intricate floral embroidery, while oversized rose appliques adorned collars and shoulders on coats and capes, adding volume and drama.

Looking ahead, Elie Saab Jr. announced plans for an immersive event in Saudi Arabia, slated for October. This event, less a traditional fashion show and more an aspirational experience, aims to position Elie Saab as an inspiration for the youth, celebrating his journey from the Middle East to the international fashion stage.
