Jun Ashida's Fall Winter 2024-2025 collection took center stage on March 29, 2024, at the Grand Hyatt Tokyo in Roppongi, Tokyo. Since its establishment in 1963, Jun Ashida has consistently led the way in Japanese ready-to-wear fashion. "After celebrating the Maison's 60th anniversary, we pondered once again what Jun Ashida should embody. Without setting a specific theme, we aimed to touch upon the core of the Maison through the show," said designer Tae Ashida. True to her words, this season marked a return to the essence of Jun Ashida's craftsmanship, focusing on high-quality and elegance.

The show commenced with gray pinstriped suits, epitomizing the sophisticated aura of empowered women. The sleek silhouette of the jackets paired with flowing trousers evoked a sense of confidence. While exuding a mannish charm, delicate touches like pastel pink accents, stiletto heels, and plunging necklines retained femininity and sensuality.

As the show progressed, rich classic hues typical of autumn and winter adorned the collection. Vivid red reminiscent of autumn leaves, ripe orange akin to luscious fruits, golden hues akin to ripe wheat, muted greens, and blues infused the designs with depth. Despite their maturity, none of these colors felt dated or stiff; rather, they exuded refinement through the synergy of high-quality materials.

Attention was drawn to the intricate craftsmanship evident in delicate fabric choices. Particularly noteworthy were the feminine dresses juxtaposing translucent lace with sheer dotted materials. Luminous threads woven into the lace sections shimmered with each model's stride, creating a delicate, romantic allure reminiscent of fairy attire.

Towards the climax, the collection embraced opulence with satin trousers exuding a subtle sheen, metallic silver jumpsuits, and black jackets shimmering like stardust. The finale featured chiffon sleeves resembling shimmering water surfaces, adorned with dazzling sequins, presenting asymmetrical dresses that exuded elegance with every step.
