Ottolinger Fall Winter 2024-25 Fashion Show

Christa Bösch and Cosima Gadient, the dynamic duo behind Ottolinger, continued to push the boundaries of contemporary fashion with their Fall Winter 2024-2025 collection. Drawing inspiration from the nightlife scene and the empowered woman who dominates both the dance floor and the boardroom, they presented a collection that reimagined traditional suiting and elevated casual wear.

At the heart of the collection were deconstructed suitings and body-hugging knits, offering a fresh take on power dressing. Embracing relaxed yet refined silhouettes, Ottolinger introduced relaxed pants paired with shirts and ties, exuding an air of sophistication and confidence. The designers challenged conventional notions of authority, seeking to redefine what it means to be in charge with subtle and elegant designs.

While Ottolinger is known for its bold prints, this season saw a departure from the norm, with the focus shifting towards cleverly reimagined tailoring. A select few looks featured bold prints, including a collaboration with Swisscom's fashion line 079, paying homage to the duo's Swiss roots.

A playful touch was added to the runway with models carrying logo shopping bags, serving as a commentary on consumerism and luxury branding. Situated opposite Galeries Lafayette on Boulevard Haussmann, Ottolinger used this as an opportunity to critique the commodification of fashion and the trend of luxury brands offering high-priced items resembling everyday shopping bags.
