Support Surface presented its Fall Winter 2024-2025 Women's Collection on March 15, 2024, at Shibuya Hikarie, embracing the theme "KAWAII!?-Adorable." Despite designer Nobuo Kenkabe's previous aversion to the term "kawaii," this season's looks exuded a feminine charm with gathered necklines, draped fabrics, and overall delicate silhouettes, marking a departure from the brand's usual preference for elegance and sophistication.

The collection showcased consistently graceful silhouettes, with gathered details appearing on shirts and waistlines of dresses, while voluminous puff sleeves and frills added to the feminine allure. The gentle contours that enveloped the body extended to the bottoms as well, with slacks featuring relaxed fits and balloon skirts boasting barrel-like forms created by gathering textiles extensively around the waistband.

Amidst refined solid fabrics, floral motifs emerged midway through the collection. Black floral prints adorned dresses and skirts, with meticulous processes like layering flocked prints over nylon tulle creating a soft yet occasionally crisp texture.

Kenkabe emphasizes his pursuit of material quality and wearability, ensuring that outerwear items, essential for the autumn/winter season, can be worn for an extended period beyond the coldest days of winter. The collection reflects Kenkabe's commitment to the satisfaction of the wearer, encapsulating his passion for creating garments that prioritize both comfort and style.
