Beaufille, the brainchild of the talented sister-duo Chloé and Parris Gordon, has been a beacon of minimalist fashion. However, with the unveiling of their Pre-Fall 2024 collection, the designers have elevated their brand by seamlessly blending their signature tailoring with intricate handcrafted elements, offering a refreshing take on contemporary fashion.

Chloé Gordon shares that the primary inspiration behind the collection was to infuse their renowned tailoring and suiting category with feminine and summer-friendly details. The result? Macramé embroidered cutouts that artfully mimic the shapes of bras and underwear. This design choice extends across blazers, maxi- and miniskirts, introducing versatility in styling. Classic men's trousers with subtle lace trim and jackets with the option to be worn in daring ways showcase the duo's commitment to innovation.

The introduction of new cotton crochet tops with scalloped edges provides a stylish "throw over your swimsuit" option, reflecting Beaufille's ability to cater to diverse fashion needs. Signature draped and twisted details, once confined to knits, have evolved into sexy blouses with twisted hems and discreet hook-and-eye closures, as well as a daring Baes dress–inspired latex-looking polyurethane coated crop top with gloves. These additions introduce a tougher contrast to the more traditionally feminine styles, including hot shorts and napa leather pieces.

The Pre-Fall 2024 collection from Beaufille marks an exploration of proportions and volume, featuring crisp little boxy jackets, ballerina-inspired poufed skirts, and button-on/button-off tailoring in mostly neutral shades. Chloé Gordon attributes the carefully curated palette to the mesmerizing color combinations found in various types of fungi, discovered through the Instagram account of a microbiologist.

To complete the assortment, Parris Gordon's collection of jewelry purposefully complements the ready-to-wear pieces. Leather eyelet belts and bag straps adorned with customizable sterling silver charms echo the looks' necklaces and earrings, creating a harmonious and cohesive aesthetic. Parris Gordon, after focusing on developing a core demi-fine jewelry collection for Beaufille, returns with sustainable, art and nature-inspired "refined costume jewelry" statement styles. Notable among them is a sterling silver version of their iconic 2019 pearl branch earrings, showcasing the brand's commitment to timeless and environmentally conscious design.
