Cividini Fall Winter 2022-23 Lookbook

Cividini, the Bergamo-based maison that has been creating non-volatile, non-ephemeral yet stylistically sophisticated fashion since 1988, continues its journey as a spokesperson for innovation, study and quality with the FW22.23 collection. A tribute to Italian craftsmanship, where evolution and permanence challenge each other in a perfect balance that enhances the stylistic and creative DNA that makes the looks recognisable, renewed by creativity and personality. This is also the strength of fashion that, each season, maintains the original imprinting with minimal design, but at the same time looks to the contemporary with refined and innovative shapes for yarns, fabrics, colours and silhouettes. This is also the modus operandi always followed by Cividini, which ensures the non-obsolescence of the proposals and underlines its contribution to the philosophy of sustainability.

With this in mind, the FW22 collection takes the form of simple, familiar shapes that are at the same time sophisticated and innovative concerning yarns, fabrics, colours and models. The white poplin shirt does not try to be revolutionary but, with the addition of the plastron motif on the front and the pleat on the sleeves, it acquires an unexpected originality. The simple, straight knee- merino high-gauge suit, with the addition of a drawstring in front and airbrush colouring in different colours, has an unusual appeal. The wide, straight trousers, which are tightened slightly at the waist with a belt, give the simple item in any wardrobe a special allure. If a cashmere jumper is woven short at the waist and a ribbed hood is added, it has a totally new look. The same effect can be achieved by weaving long polo shirts in ribbed silk with inlaid bands in the centre sleeve. A leisure of timeless luxury.

Simplicity, attention to detail and stylistic personality become the key characteristics of the line, which adapts to the tastes of the contemporary woman thanks to the graphic cuts of the jackets, the quilted effect of the parkas or the play of check prints and Tie&Dye effects on skirts and fitted tank tops.

The colour palette ranges from navy blue and butter to brick, mustard and plum. The accessories, on the other hand, add an urban touch to the collection, thanks to bags, belts and shoes made of patent leather and sometimes combined with nappa leather or leopard print goatskin. Special attention and a perfect combination of present and past are the shoes with high tank soles, which take on a combat soul when mounted on a riding boot, and a 1950s flavour thanks to the animal print boot.
