Choi found inspiration for his Resort collection in the works of renowned artist Edward Hopper, particularly in Hopper's ability to capture moments of inner turmoil and contemplation. Titled "Night Shadows," the collection evokes the eerie etching of a desolate city street created by Hopper in the early 1920s. Choi aimed to tap into the ambiguous emotions and the transitional period between day and night, reflecting the day-to-night versatility of his clothing designs.
