Fausto Puglisi, creative director at Roberto Cavalli, made a splash at Cannes this week, channeling the brand's signature flamboyance alongside model Natasha Poly. This comes as the fashion world experiences a resurgence of early 2000s Cavalli styles, with young shoppers drawn to the vintage pieces.

Puglisi's Resort 2025 collection captures this trend, offering a toned-down version of Cavalli's glamorous aesthetic. Inspired by the Y2K revival, the collection features sexy pieces like zebra-striped thigh-grazing slips, silky leotards, and wide-leg jeans with animal print slashes.

But Puglisi doesn't forget Cavalli's core clientele. He includes designs for the more mature woman who still embraces her inner glamazon. A graphic black and white zebra trench coat and a vibrant rose printed pantsuit with a crinkled texture (a Cavalli signature) cater to this sophisticated yet bold taste.

The collection finishes with a touch of the moment: the cowboy hat, recently popularized by Beyoncé, another Cavalli admirer.
