Pillings is a Japanese fashion brand. The designer is Ryo Murakami. Until the Fall Winter collection of 2017, both Ryo Murakami and his mother, Chiaki Murakami, were in charge of designing. However, from the Spring Summer collection of 2018, only Ryo Murakami has been handling the design. From the Spring Summer collection of 2021, it was renamed Pillings. Adding the plural -s to pilling, meaning pills, signifies pills in the sense of relationships, expressing the desire to design both the relationships themselves and the environment born from them, likening them to pills.
