Quira Fall Winter 2024-25 Lookbook

Quira Fall Winter 2024-2025 collection lookbook presented at Paris Fashion Week FW24 (March 2, 2024).

Quira's Fall Winter 2024-2025 collection debuted at the Oratoire du Louvre, juxtaposing the solemnity of its surroundings with Veronica Leoni's vision of raw, textural fashion. Embracing a more rigorous approach than previous seasons, Leoni masterfully navigates the tension between abstraction and physicality, resulting in a collection that exudes both control and release.

As part of a new wave of women designers attuned to the nuances of female experience, Leoni offers garments that seamlessly blend ease and complexity. Her designs, while rooted in a decisive tailoring language, allow for self-representation and interpretation, empowering wearers to "own the garment with a spirit of interpretation." This balance is evident in the collection's range, which features streamlined coats, fitted blazers, and elegant tuxedos, all infused with a touch of impromptu creativity.

A highlight of the collection is its versatility, with pieces that invite spontaneous styling gestures. Skirts with askew-hemmed edges can be softly adjusted to regulate their length, while coats boast loose side panels that can be wrapped or folded as protective capes. According to Leoni, the beauty lies in the undone, organic aesthetic, eschewing excessive virtuosity in favor of authenticity and fluidity.

Captured through the lens of model Guinevere Van Seenus, the collection's visual portfolio takes on an artsy narrative, with Van Seenus embodying the emotional intensity and empathy of the garments. Alongside her, choreographer and performer Imre van Opstal adds depth to the storytelling, creating a visual dialogue that transcends the traditional confines of fashion photography.
